There are three parking areas. One is around the main entrance, where you'll see a sign. There is also one at the north entrance, which you can get to by going through the bamboo forest. Another one is available if you are coming from the south.
You can use this parking spot for Tenryu-ji temple, as well as for Hogon-in Temple, which is a Tenryu-ji sub-temple.
