Located high in the Okusaga area of Arashiyama, this temple is famous for its 8,000 stone statues dedicated to souls without kin. It also features a bamboo grove that is often much quieter than the main Arashiyama grove.
Expect an uphill ride.
There is a marked bicycle parking area if you go a little bit further up the road.
